Because I have either played or seen most of them. :!: For the benefit of everyone here:

Image
Brook
Stranded in Costa Rica

Brook was a player in last season's Costa Rica adventure. I didnt see much of Brook's actual game to commment too much, but going pre-merge the first time wouldnt have been in his plans. Ive played with Brook in just about all of the Aussie ORGs, so I know what he can do at full strength. He just recently finished up with the Aussie All Stars game, in which he made the Jury despite having a collective target of just about everybody else in the whole game. Strategically, Brook can definitely bring it probably to a better extent than he did in Costa Rica. One thorn in his side will be having John out there, who's epic long Losers Lodge bitch fight is still one of the greatest internet arguments ever.

Image
Chase
Stranded in Malaysia

Chase was before my time, having played in Stranded in Malaysia on the newbie tribe, now hes back in the same format on the returnees tribe. Aside from that my knowledge is limited, I did a little bit of research before Stranded with Refuge, as I expected the likes to Purple Kelly, Darrah, Cao Boi etc to be playing, but alas they never showed up. Anyway, Chase is another of the Aussie ORG players and I am very excited to see him return. Last time in Malaysia I know he was double dipping and this time he'll be able to solely focus on this, so I am sure we'll get a bit more of an aggressive Chase than the last time he played. On the other hand, Chase has an excellent social game which propels him into the high tier of winners. On a tribe with quite a few villains, I think this will suit him.

Image
Fabio
Stranded in Malaysia

Fabio is another player I didnt see first hand when they first played, but I did have the pleasure of playing with Fabio in the USA vs Australian cross over game where he made it all the way to the end and played a great game, just being overshadowed by Brenda's more in your face strategic and physical game, which is hardly a crime. At any rate, Fabio is another one of those 'hero' social players who I think will shine on a tribe with 3 or 4 villain type characters. I am unaware of what relationship Fabio has with Chase and whether or not it was a good or bad one, since the existence of such a relationship could help or hinder both his and Chase's games, but at any rate, ill give Fabio a huge chance to take this game out.

Image
Jake
Stranded in Greece

Jake <3 One of the sweethearts of the Helios tribe in Greece, Jake was very unlucky to not make the merge and would have had we not had to go to Tribal Council that last time. I think one of my favourite things about Jake was that he sent some amazing PM's that really made me trust him and that can only work for him here provided he consistently sends them. One thing I did notice back in Greece is that Jake was a bit like me and that he'd just do shit because he wanted to. In particular when he voted for Helen despite her having no chance of being voted out because she said something to piss him off. I dont know what other ORGs Jake has played since Greece, but I dont think it matters too much as that initial experience will definitely help him.

Image
John
Stranded in Costa Rica

Ok lol. From what I could see in Costa Rica John was just a complete nightmare for the other players to deal with and his blindside was hilariously epic <3. For me John will probably be the big villain for this tribe because I think he'll still probably run his mouth and say whatever the fuck he wants to say without any thought for the consequences. Ive seen John play a likeable game in Aussie Stranded, but for some reason he was the villain in this series and I think he'll want to maintain that character performance. John will definitely be scheming the entire time and try his best to organise alliances and what not right off the bat, but with a cast of players that have all played before, combined with his deepest, darkest enemy Brook being back to haunt him again, I can see John kicking up a storm and going pre-merge.

Image
Jolanda
Stranded in Costa Rica

Jolanda is the one I have the least information on, because from what I could see in Costa Rica she appeared to be a bit of an UTR, social type player rather than openly in your face ala John. This can only help Jolanda I think, and she'll be another one of those social goddesses hopefully that can just get herself in an alliance early on and hopefully fly under the radar for as long as she can before making some moves for herself at the merge. Its hard to write on somebody I dont know much about, I am unaware of any games Jolanda played before or after Costa Rica, so I have no idea on her form line as such. But then I figure, if I dont know its likely that these guys wont know either and so Jolanda really could float by being quite underrated and if she's learnt from her first time, this could be really dangerous.

Image
Ken
Stranded in Greece

Im so glad Ken got another chance for starters. Back in Greece, Ken was playing his first game and he didnt really get it. He ended up being the first boot from Helios as he wasnt in any of the alliances that had been established and so nobody really seemed to mind getting rid of him. Such is the lesson for any ORG newbies is to give people a reason to keep you. At any rate, I know Ken has been actively improving his game since then, hes won something, I cant remember what it is and had a much better time in Return, Revenge, Redemption for starters. So Ken comes back to Stranded with a host of experiences in other games and he'll be infinitely the better player than he was the first time. In terms of his game specifically, I have no real comments as he'll be the one out of this cast who is the most different from his first Stranded incarnation. Good luck Kenny!

Image
Mikey B
Stranded in ???

I have absolutely no idea who Mikey B is or what season he played. Good luck tho.

Image
Russell
Stranded in Cambodia

See Mikey B. Russell is a complete mystery to me as well. I do know he was part of Cambodia as the Survivor Samoa cast all played in that tho.

Image
Ted
Stranded in Greece

Ted is just completely nuts and I dont want to write everything I can on him. Ted played for the lulz and he played to fuck over as many people as he could, not really caring what the circumstances were. He is most famous for flipping on Helios and mutinying to Asteria, somehow making the merge and then fucking with the rest of us for three episodes before we finally had the ability to vote him out. I knew Ted had to go pretty early on at the merge and I always had that plan for the next couple of episodes, thankfully, Helen organised a Ted blindside for Episode 09 and that crazy guy was gone. Ted is great at the Immunity Challenges, so he'll definitely have a reason to stick around, his strategic game is good but he is very lazy with PMs and only sends sentence long messages which may piss everyone off. Im glad to see Ted back and I hope he does well.

Penny, John wasn't really a nightmare. He told one lie to both Mia and I that we found out about later, but other than that he really wasn't trying to be a villain. Oh and we lied to the other tribe about taking the idol clues after we swapped - DUH why WOULDN'T we do that? We wanted to make sure one of us got it. He did have a problem with saying whatever he was thinking which rubbed people the wrong way when what he said was not what they wanted to hear - AKA his suggestion to Brook that we vote Dolly out because she wasn't really playing the game and we kept losing challenges. Brook was the real headcase from my perspective. And John kinda got vilified after he left and everyone, including myself, blamed all the two-timing that was going on pre-merge on him. He was really a loyal ally and I don't think he would have ever turned on anyone he was actually working with. Brook got his panties wadded up over us wanting to boot Dolly and he went full retard leading to John's elimination.

Sorry for jacking your thread, but I just wanted to say that. I am curious how he is going to play this time and how the John/Brook dynamic is going to play out.

Your analysis has me totally interested Penny! : D
Mostly in Ted and Ken, 2 players I don't know.

And John was actually a nice guy -- to your face, once Brook told us about his scheming was when things turned into a nightmare. Luckily we had unstable-Brook to help us take John out though. The time from when we first found out to when he was eliminated went by really quickly so we never got to have a huge blowout about it (until Brook and John's fight). Not that we wanted him to know we knew. :P

Ahh ok. All I really have of John is is what I could observe. Plus his confessionals were crazy negative lol. Brook ive got way more of an idea on because ive known him for so long now.

And Ted will be crazy fun if he plays the same way. He just plays to make it tougher for everyone else lol. Ken will definitely be the most improved based on his last season.

As crazy as being on NuGuatuso was, it was definitely the most interesting part of the game for me, Jo and Gregg. It really put our Day 1 alliance to the test and I'm shocked we all made it out of that tribe alive... Chad forcing us to vote Brook out immediately after we told him we owed him one was just such a horrible feeling, ugh. But there was no way Jo and I would have voted against Gregg. Plus, John and Brook going out back-to-back is just hilarious in itself.

Damn so much Greece love <333

I completely agree Penny, Ken will be massively improved. It's a pleasant surprise to see Jake there, and I sure hope Ted doesn't tame down his game this time around lol. icon_lol

John, Brook & Jolanda - Stranded in Costa Rica - Season 17
Ken, Jake & Ted Rogers Jr - Stranded in Greece - Season 15
Fabio & Chase - Stranded in Malaysia - Season 14
Russell - Stranded in Cambodia - Season 13
Erica - Stranded in Madagascar - Season 11

S12 & 16 were All-Stars of sorts.

No offence to Erica, but she really wasn't all that in Madagascar? I just remembered her being a huge Stranded fan but she was really quiet. I was on her tribe for one round and she didn't really leave much of an impression on me, but when you are with Lisi and EdgarGod, I guess you won't if you are shy.

Think more second-chancers than favourites or All-Stars, Cristina. Each player here either had some potential that just wasn't realised, or was robbed by a twist of the game or dumb-ass allies or w/e. I think Fabio is the only endgamer here? Everyone else left the game pre-merge or within two boots of merging.
