One tribe was Thailand characters, the other Amazon. Helios and Asteria, respectively.

There were two twists in this season: You could accept clues to a hidden immunity idol during a round, and weaken your tribe at the challenge, and one person could mutiny before the start of any challenge.

Our tribe decided that we would just take one clue and share it among the group, but for whatever reason, we were too retarded to decide exactly who that would be or something? I'm a little foggy on the details. Anyway, the clue basically called you a traitor for taking it.

Which makes sense, right? It's actually the theme for the season. So both I, and someone on the other tribe, found the idol pretty quickly. (The password was Prometheus).

Now, at this point, I think I was aligned with Brian Jake and Helen. Anyway, for some reason I got a group PM from Jake that said something about getting rid of Ted "because he's fishy", and I was like, kay, this probably wasn't meant for me, and just sort of ignored it, just to see what was going on. We got rid of Ken this round for being ridiculously strategic and getting on everybody's nerves. I announced to my tribe at this tribal council that i had an idol, was leaving the tribe, and I'd do my best to get Rob C out (because Penny hated him).

Asteria was reasonably welcoming, and I found myself in a good position. I suppose it could have helped to tell Rob C that I actually had an idol, because he decided at the last minute in the last pre-merge round that the Asteria idol was taken, (Christy had it, but we didn't know) and that he could mutiny and take the one Helios, but he would require us to throw the challenge just in case. We obliged. As it turns out, Asteria was filled with a few people who were equally annoying as Helios, (like ridiculously strategic, and just making up stupid bs for no reason) but we managed to knock one of them out. But I got two votes, so there was still a person who had voted for me (Shawna), and Daniel, who was horrible when it came to the social aspect.

I just found the voting history, so my memory has improved greatly. At the merge, I wanted to target Shawna because I disliked her. Daniel flipped with me, which pissed me off to no end, because he had literally done nothing all game until now, so I talked to some people to get him out next. I assume that both these votes worked in my favour because:

a) I had won immunity in both rounds.
b) I had a connection to both tribes.

The next round, I was targeting Erinn, because she was the last person remaining on Helios that I didn't really like.

I didn't win immunity. I didn't play my idol. I didn't survive the 4-3-1 vote.

I believe this happened because we may have tried to split the vote 3-3-2, but I know that Brian/Helen switched the votes.

So I guess my mistakes were that I didn't play my idol, and that I was going along with Brian/Helen because I thought it would benefit me, while they were going with me because they thought it would benefit them.

It played out such that Penny would win against Brian and Helen, and they definitely deserved it. The next round they lost Erinn because Christy played her idol. Next round, they voted Rob out 3-2-1, convincing him to vote for Christy.

It was a really amazing game, tbh, and one of the most enjoyable I ever played. It took place in my holidays, so I built up a routine of eating toasted cheese sandwiches with hot chilli sauce, playing Stranded, and then watching a James Bond film, as I got the box set for Christmas at the end of 2011. It was one of my most fun and unhealthiest times.

So have you been talking to your past tribe-mates much? It must be weird playing with them again when you know who they are/how they play!

Yes, I've been talking to them about it, and it seems like they're going to be playing the same way they played last time. Ken is trying to build up some alliances, and Jake is flying under the radar, just getting into the majority. They're actually playing games that are a lot more solid this time around.

I should add that it's a known fact that Brook and Jimmy T are partners - he picked survey #10 which wasn't filled out, and Jimmy T is the only person who hasn't checked in from your tribe. I can try to figure out who else was who. For reference, you were survey #3, so if you have any idea who might have filled out their surveys before you, I can tell you who picked them :)

I would imagine that #1 and #2 would be Dan and Holly, they were the ones that were online before me... Maybe one was Tyrone? The others didn't come up until much later.

Also if there was one that was poorly spelled and with bad grammar, I would say that would be Jane.

I can get along with pretty much almost everyone, but if you start to annoy me way too much, I'm going to end up hating you. No offense.

2. Are you typically a dominant personality in most friendships? Submissive? Neither?
I say neither. It pretty much that I can talk to people pretty well but I would also like to see them talk to me so I don't feel lonely.

3. What is your strategy in the game?
Trust in your friends and kick the assholes out of the game when they are a threat to the game.

4. What type of partner are you looking for in the game?
Someone who isn't scared of a fight or a challenge.

5. How would most people describe you? What are you really like?
Most people would describe me as a loner, but to me, I'm an insane person that can tend to be a tad bit annoying. Just got to know my limit on how I can speak.

I get along with the type of people who are a bit negative, know what they're doing and often bond with people over talking about them. A little bit arrogant, but there's definitely reason behind their arrogance. I clash with try-hard's, inactives and basics. If you aren't unique, you aren't with me.

2. Are you typically a dominant personality in most friendships? Submissive? Neither?
I just feel like if you're the most dominant person in a friendship, you're friends with the wrong person. You need to be friends with somebody that's as combative as ya', because if not? Ya in the wrong damn circle of friends.

3. What is your strategy in the game?
Win. Aim high, go high.

4. What type of partner are you looking for in the game?
I'm looking for the type of partner that can pick up my slack in challenges, joke around with me, will be active and of course, knows what they're doing.

5. How would most people describe you? What are you really like?
Most people will describe me as a demanding, boss type. But I'm really a kind soul once you get behind my tough demeanor.

I get along with nice people and don't get along with bitches who don't realise their in a world of their own. If you're an arrogant and condescending mess, you ain't the person for me.

I'd say neither. I like to be nice and everything with everyone. Being dominant or submissive really isn't that good of a place to be.

3. What is your strategy in the game?

I just wanna be here and be nice with everyone, make sure everyone is happy and loving the game. Hopefully that should start me off well and maybe make a few alliances along the way.

4. What type of partner are you looking for in the game?

I'm looking for a good partner, someone who is open to discussion and is always willing to look at multiple options when a complication arises. Mutual benefits are the biggest thing with effective partners and I'm hoping I get a partner who wants to look out for me as I will look out for them.

5. How would most people describe you? What are you really like?

I think people would describe me as a natural leader, someone who can take charge and do it effectively. I'm not a pushover but I don't like dominance. I think that's close to what I'm like although there's always people who disagree.

I'll be honest, I don't care who the hell I'm partnering with, it's going to be the only secret I end up taking to the ship off this island when I end up going. I MIGHT suggest just pairing everyone else up and giving me whoever's left, because frankly I won't be here long enough to matter, but eh.

1. What personality types do you get along with? clash with? I get along fairly alright with pretty much anyone. I've got one primary rule of thumb, though - be a douche, expect a douche. I don't like assholes. I don't like the stupid fucking HBICs that so many people try and fail to be. It's incredibly stupid and pointless, and it's a complete waste. That being said, I'm not going to be here long enough for it to matter, so there's that to consider.

2. Are you typically a dominant personality in most friendships? Submissive? Neither? I'm going to go with option D, all of the above. It depends on who it is. I don't care how it goes. Like I said, I very probably won't be here long enough for it to make any difference at all.

3. What is your strategy in the game? Strategy? STRATEGY?! Where's the roflmao smilie when you need one? That's just laughable.

4. What type of partner are you looking for in the game? One who doesn't mind the fact that their partner is completely and utterly fucked, even before the game's started, just because of who he is. Or, you know, bottom of the barrel. O don't care who it ends up being.

5. How would most people describe you? What are you really like? Uh. Hello? THIS is what I'm really like. Okay, usually I'm more mellow and I've sworn upwards in the thousands of times more often than I usually do over the course of two PMs and a confession post.

I get along with anyone for the most part so that's kind of hard to say. Come correct when approaching me and we'll be fine. As far as the ones I clash with? Try-Hard bitches for sure!! The players that lose their cool when shit don't go their way. Whiny cunts. The norm.

2. Are you typically a dominant personality in most friendships? Submissive? Neither?
I would say yes and no? It really depends on the game tbh. Here I plan to go back to my dominant mama bear roots.

Win. No explanation necessary.

Someone loyal and someone that will be willing to share information. I'm looking for that Louise to my Thelma. That Clyde to my Bonnie. The Yang to my Ying.

Versatile. I'm a sweetheart yet I can bring the sass when the situation calls for it. People describe me as emotional

I get along with calm, collected people who are focused on their goal and won't sidetrack for any redundant bullshit

No, I wouldn't say I'm a dominant personality unless I absolutely have to be. Then some feelings get hurt usually.

3. What is your strategy in the game?
Having a set strategy in a game like that is stupid so my "strategy" would be to adapt to the situation and take everything day-by-day

4. What type of partner are you looking for in the game?
Not a stupid one, hopefully.

5. How would most people describe you? What are you really like?
I don't really care about how other perceive me that much, and I honestly don't even wanna know. I guess if I must come up with something, it would be cynical, sarcastic and kinda a bit of an asshole sometimes? I guess.

I like smart people and people who aren't total dumbasses. Manipulative people who have loyalty to those they are aligned with and people who know when to speak and when to shut up.

I hate arrogant self centered people who strive on chaos.

I have to be submissive I'm not nice when I'm dominant I guess.

3. What is your strategy in the game?

Not get votes.

4. What type of partner are you looking for in the game?

Somebody who's smart and will carry me mostly through. Honestly as it stands right now i don't want to do a lot of work and the fact I'm an ugly hag makes it harder to play that cutesy role.

5. How would most people describe you? What are you really like?
Attractive, fit, good angles for photos, creative, nice nose, I like to look nice. I'm caring at times as long as I like hte person and they aren't homely or poor. I don't like poor people or charity too much. Like in all honesty i don't do it. But I'm a good person who is loyal to their friends.

Hmmm... the only one that sticks out to me is that Erica's partner is definitely Jimmy J. He seems to be putting in his best efforts to be voted out first, I don't know why but it's pretty hilarious... He made a group post on our wall saying how he didn't "want no fucken' alliances, so don't even bother to ask".
I would also suggest that Russell's might be Jane, but I don't know for sure.

ps. Just out of interest, was there anything in my survey which made you pick me? Or where you late and got stuck with me? :P

I was actually the first to pick, and I went with you because you:
a) Hated stupid people and were looking for intelligent conversation.
b) Looking for a solid partner.

Which is pretty much what I'm looking for in a partner as well :P

Looking at the responses, I would put Wendy with Jake... mainly because from my PMs with both of them, I would say that Wendy is more likely to drop a cunt in a blind survey... She seems a bit more brash and out there while Yve is more refined... So we're looking at:

Very interesting, also totally awesome that we could work this out so quickly! Good teamwork (ok, I know it was mainly you, but whatever.) Of course, this could be slightly wrong but I feel confident we have correctly matched most of them... It also gives me some good insight into my tribe's gameplay!

Is there anyone that you're aligned with at the moment whose vet partner we should be knocking out?

Hmmm well the only person who I've told my partner to is Holly, who confirmed that she is Fabio. If Fabio didn't make the merge, that would be swell for me :P I don't exactly trust Holly and only told her because she forced my hand... Obviously if I come after him at the merge it will look suss in her eyes, but if he were to get voted out pre-merge through not fault of my own that would be dandy.
What about you? Our tribe has been fairly slow on the alliance-forming front, a couple of us have been talking about it, but I have been one of the more active members of the tribe so I might be able to try and go after someone in particular if you need me to?

Dan and Yve are the only two that I would worry about at this point. On my side, I'd suspect we'll lose Erica, Russell and Jolanda pretty early, so I don't have much of a worry about Jimmy J, Jane and Tyrone.

I'm guessing that Tyrone is the only one of those three that is likely to stick around anyway?
