Ah, this is the challenge we did in CR where Chad took Immunity for NuGuatuso.

This also COULD have been the challenge that Mia would have sent me out of the game on a silver platter icon_rolleyes icon_mad icon_rolleyes icon_mad icon_rolleyes icon_mad

You should be thankful that Chad beat me by a millisecond.

Otherwise you'd be playing in this season right now. Jeff's blogs talked about how much he DIDN'T want you to go and that you'd be back for sure if you did.

I think the super early tribe swap shook things up a lot for the early part of the game, but things have been diffused enough now that it'll be predictable for a little while.

I would have totally owned that challenge icon_wub

But seriously props to both tribes on not taking it. It would have been beyond fucking stupid. Besides the obv fact you are losing a # and they are not(which can be huge in 2 tribe games) and get deeper into the tribe dynamics while the other tribe doesn't, you show the people on your tribe you don't trust them. That challenge is more tempting to take immunity if it is closer to the merge, but even then I would likely never take immunity in that situation. We did this challenge pre-merge in another game when I was on a 4 person tribe, and no one took immunity. Glad to see no one took it here. If you were getting booting at this point you deserved to go for sucking.

Wut, no. For most people yes, but to not take it was a terrible decision for at least two people for sure, tomorrow will reveal exactly who dun goofed here. I am gonna go out on a limb and say there are five people who would have been better off taking it and buying themselves the time they need to get a better foothold.

There is at least one player confessing that had they been here they would have taken it for sure. And they would have been right to. They are on the outs and they know it.

See.... the thing is though... when we did this last season, Jeff had announced that we had all made the merge or that there was going to be another tribe swap - I can't exactly remember what it was. But I was aware that it was the last night I would be spending with the other four people on my tribe exclusively and I wanted at least one of them gone. At F17, they are way before the merge (I'm assuming lol) and if someone actually took it, all it would do is make them look like not a team player to the rest of their tribe mates. Obviously there are two people that should have - the two that are going home tonight. But I just don't see how taking that wouldn't put a huge target on your back and as far as we know, these people still have to try to work together for a few more rounds and make the merge.

Well I get what you are saying. But I still disagree. If someone is confessing they would have took had they shown up, how about just show up every night before that, do work, and not need it? If you know you are fucked sure take it. But you shouldn't even be fucked this early, and grabbing individual immunity at a tribemates expense, is not exactly the way to go about turning your game around imo.
