Because I have either played or seen most of them.
For the benefit of everyone here:
BrookStranded in Costa RicaBrook was a player in last season's Costa Rica adventure. I didnt see much of Brook's actual game to commment too much, but going pre-merge the first time wouldnt have been in his plans. Ive played with Brook in just about all of the Aussie ORGs, so I know what he can do at full strength. He just recently finished up with the Aussie All Stars game, in which he made the Jury despite having a collective target of just about everybody else in the whole game. Strategically, Brook can definitely bring it probably to a better extent than he did in Costa Rica. One thorn in his side will be having John out there, who's epic long Losers Lodge bitch fight is still one of the greatest internet arguments ever.
ChaseStranded in MalaysiaChase was before my time, having played in Stranded in Malaysia on the newbie tribe, now hes back in the same format on the returnees tribe. Aside from that my knowledge is limited, I did a little bit of research before Stranded with Refuge, as I expected the likes to Purple Kelly, Darrah, Cao Boi etc to be playing, but alas they never showed up. Anyway, Chase is another of the Aussie ORG players and I am very excited to see him return. Last time in Malaysia I know he was double dipping and this time he'll be able to solely focus on this, so I am sure we'll get a bit more of an aggressive Chase than the last time he played. On the other hand, Chase has an excellent social game which propels him into the high tier of winners. On a tribe with quite a few villains, I think this will suit him.
FabioStranded in MalaysiaFabio is another player I didnt see first hand when they first played, but I did have the pleasure of playing with Fabio in the USA vs Australian cross over game where he made it all the way to the end and played a great game, just being overshadowed by Brenda's more in your face strategic and physical game, which is hardly a crime. At any rate, Fabio is another one of those 'hero' social players who I think will shine on a tribe with 3 or 4 villain type characters. I am unaware of what relationship Fabio has with Chase and whether or not it was a good or bad one, since the existence of such a relationship could help or hinder both his and Chase's games, but at any rate, ill give Fabio a huge chance to take this game out.
JakeStranded in GreeceJake <3 One of the sweethearts of the Helios tribe in Greece, Jake was very unlucky to not make the merge and would have had we not had to go to Tribal Council that last time. I think one of my favourite things about Jake was that he sent some amazing PM's that really made me trust him and that can only work for him here provided he consistently sends them. One thing I did notice back in Greece is that Jake was a bit like me and that he'd just do shit because he wanted to. In particular when he voted for Helen despite her having no chance of being voted out because she said something to piss him off.
I dont know what other ORGs Jake has played since Greece, but I dont think it matters too much as that initial experience will definitely help him.
JohnStranded in Costa RicaOk lol. From what I could see in Costa Rica John was just a complete nightmare for the other players to deal with and his blindside was hilariously epic <3. For me John will probably be the big villain for this tribe because I think he'll still probably run his mouth and say whatever the fuck he wants to say without any thought for the consequences. Ive seen John play a likeable game in Aussie Stranded, but for some reason he was the villain in this series and I think he'll want to maintain that character performance. John will definitely be scheming the entire time and try his best to organise alliances and what not right off the bat, but with a cast of players that have all played before, combined with his deepest, darkest enemy Brook being back to haunt him again, I can see John kicking up a storm and going pre-merge.
JolandaStranded in Costa RicaJolanda is the one I have the least information on, because from what I could see in Costa Rica she appeared to be a bit of an UTR, social type player rather than openly in your face ala John. This can only help Jolanda I think, and she'll be another one of those social goddesses hopefully that can just get herself in an alliance early on and hopefully fly under the radar for as long as she can before making some moves for herself at the merge. Its hard to write on somebody I dont know much about, I am unaware of any games Jolanda played before or after Costa Rica, so I have no idea on her form line as such. But then I figure, if I dont know its likely that these guys wont know either and so Jolanda really could float by being quite underrated and if she's learnt from her first time, this could be really dangerous.
KenStranded in GreeceIm so glad Ken got another chance for starters. Back in Greece, Ken was playing his first game and he didnt really get it. He ended up being the first boot from Helios as he wasnt in any of the alliances that had been established and so nobody really seemed to mind getting rid of him. Such is the lesson for any ORG newbies is to give people a reason to keep you. At any rate, I know Ken has been actively improving his game since then, hes won something, I cant remember what it is and had a much better time in Return, Revenge, Redemption for starters. So Ken comes back to Stranded with a host of experiences in other games and he'll be infinitely the better player than he was the first time. In terms of his game specifically, I have no real comments as he'll be the one out of this cast who is the most different from his first Stranded incarnation. Good luck Kenny!
Mikey BStranded in ???I have absolutely no idea who Mikey B is or what season he played. Good luck tho.
RussellStranded in CambodiaSee Mikey B. Russell is a complete mystery to me as well. I do know he was part of Cambodia as the Survivor Samoa cast all played in that tho.
TedStranded in GreeceTed is just completely nuts and I dont want to write everything I can on him. Ted played for the lulz and he played to fuck over as many people as he could, not really caring what the circumstances were. He is most famous for flipping on Helios and mutinying to Asteria, somehow making the merge and then fucking with the rest of us for three episodes before we finally had the ability to vote him out. I knew Ted had to go pretty early on at the merge and I always had that plan for the next couple of episodes, thankfully, Helen organised a Ted blindside for Episode 09 and that crazy guy was gone. Ted is great at the Immunity Challenges, so he'll definitely have a reason to stick around, his strategic game is good but he is very lazy with PMs and only sends sentence long messages which may piss everyone off. Im glad to see Ted back and I hope he does well.
